Yesterday afternoon, I received a phone call from a friend, Bob Ekblad. Bob and his wife Gracie live in Mount Vernon Washington, and lead a Ministry called New Earth Refuge. For several decades Bob has led Bible studies in local jails, and because he spent several years in Honduras and speaks fluent Spanish, ministers to migrant Mexican farmworkers, and runs a clinic and Ministry center in Burlington Washington. Bob and his wife are passionate about Jesus, and Bob ministers regularly with Rolland and Heidi Baker, missionaries and church planters in Mozambique (Iris Ministries).
Bob and I have been talking about visiting Korea together, as Iris Ministries conducts training schools in several countries. The Holy Given School in Korea is based in the same church, that I have regularly visited, and the director invited Bob and I to come to the school... the catch: she felt we needed to come this weekend. After praying with Carlene and several other leaders and feeling very positive about committing to go, tomorrow (Sunday), we leave at 2:30 p.m. from Seattle and will be in Korea for one week. I am especially looking forward to partnering with Bob as many underground church leaders will be in attendance.
I am asking you to pray for:
1 Safety and smooth travel
2 Grace in all speaking and Ministry sessions
3 We would meet the right people in the right place, and in the right time
4 Protection and grace for Carlene, who will be in Washington caring for her mother
5 Favor and blessing on leaders of the hidden church
