Can you imagine stumbling upon a beautiful but wild garden. It is not groomed professionally, but somehow the arrangement of the plants and flowers, ferns, and trees, enhance each other with the fragrance of the Creator. Then (if you are like me) you might take notice...and just resume the journey.
This note is going out to...hopefully all who were at our gathering last week in Troutdale.....and others too. I spent several hours listening to the recording of our time together. As you know worship was unrehearsed, sometimes tentative, and yet always lovely. Holy Spirit led us back to the theme of Abba 4 times during the meeting. I am submitting this to you as an invitation to ask the Lord to perhaps re-visit the beauty of these moments....and stop and wonder at the beauty in the wild garden experienced in Paul’s admonition: “when you gather, each one brings....”
I would be encouraged to know you spent some time in the garden...and I’ll post this on the pacificministries.blogspot.com and you may comment.
Personal sharing of God moments.

even at night my heart instructs me.

my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the grave, [c]
nor will you let your Holy One [d] see decay.
11 You have made [e] known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Joy of the Redeemed1 The desert and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.
Like the crocus, 2 it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel and Sharon;
they will see the glory of the LORD,
the splendor of our God.
3 Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts,
"Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come,
he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution
he will come to save you."
The wasteland will rejoice. There will be an abundance of flowers and joy.
