November 11, 2012 Worship at the River

In 2007 when Delight and I were in the IHOP Internship program we met Tom and Donna Cole. At that time they were conducting Pure Heart classes for all interns, both young and older, at the IHOP mission base. Now Tom and Donna reside in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii with three of their four children where they conduct their classes at the Youth With A Mission base.

At the November 11, 2012 Worship at the River meeting Tom and Donna will be with us for an evening of worship and ministry. In addition to that, there will be a 4-week class during the month of October based Cole’s book: Pure Heart – Restoration of the Heart through the Beatitudes.

The class meetings will occur on October 21, 28, Nov 4 and Nov 11 from 2-4PM. The location will be announced later. Twenty registrations are being saved for regular Worship at the River attendees through the month of August. Register early to get in the class. During September, registrations will be accepted for any unfulfilled spots in the class. The cost for the class, including the book, will be $10/person. Checks should be made out to Pacificminisries.

The Pure Heart class is based on eight lessons from the Beatitudes:

Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit: True Poverty
Blessed Are Those Who Mourn: The Mother Wound
Blessed Are the Meek: The Father Wound
Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst: Confession
Blessed Are the Merciful: True Femininity
Blessed Are the Peacemakers: True Masculinity
Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted: Forgiveness
Blessed Are the Pure Heart: The True Self

Through these lessons and Holy Spirit’s ministry, Jesus brings healing to people’s emotions, restores and clarifies their self-image, deals with soul wounds and draws them into the love of the Father. Tom and Donna utilize worship, teaching and ministry time to bring healing and restoration to the heart.
