A Reminder Worship at the River Back to Second Sunday's November 14 at the Troutdale House Thanksgiving potluck at 5 PM and worship at 6 PM

Dear Friends:

We want to take a moment to thank you for not only supporting us with your friendships, love, and encouragement but also financially so we can be sent out by you to "hit the trail" seeking how to follow Holy Spirit in praise and worship upon God's land and gathered with His people to give honor and glory due His name.  Without your financial support we could not be "out there" among God's beautiful land and people groups who are seeking also.

We just returned from Chelan Washington this weekend with Kelly Hahn to join others in pursuit of God's glory in worship.  Some long time friends will be joining us as well as new faces.

We had a ton of fun in Siletz with Theo, Beth and Steve Carlson.  Again it was exciting to see what God is doing through both Pastor Russell, Dan Russell's father and Dan Lundy who copastor a little Baptist Church in Siletz.  Our picture made it in The Winds of Praise newsletter and here are some pictures from the picnic and baptisms.

Bless you and we look forward to this Sunday at the Troutdale House for Worship.

A Reminder Worship at the River Back to Second Sunday's November 14

  • A Reminder Worship at the River Back to Second Sunday's November 14 at the Troutdale House Thanksgiving potluck at 5 PM and worship at 6 PM
  • Thank you for praying for Korea.  I apologize as some of the pictures didn't come through so I've posted the final e-mail below.  After some 6 days of time adjustment (normally it just takes two or three... I must be getting old!)  Carlene, Kelly Hahn, and myself will leave Friday morning for Chelan Washington where we will join Elvin Gladney and Dan Hammer for a conference entitled Breathe on Me.  Hope to see some of you from that area. Information can be found here.
  • Although I celebrate testimonies of dramatic encounters with heaven, I rarely feel inclined to forward them.  Recently, a friend of mine sent me a you tube video of a young man and his wife from Argentina who simply began pursue God's heart  with just a simple guitar and began experiencing the sound of heaven singing.  Naturally many may feel skeptical, but supernaturally, this recording of simple and heartfelt worship together with the sounds of heaven has impacted me.

Thank you for your love and support.

Timothy and Rachel (far right 2nd and 3rd row) were young students when we first came to Korea in 2002. We would to gather in our apartment and Carlene would make her best Italian spaghetti with garlic smells that permeated the school. These young students would gather in a circle eat spaghetti (break from kimchee) and we would talk about listening to God...and we laughed a lot. We spoke words of encouragement and blessing over them. It has been 8 years since we have seen many of them and they all gathered together for a reunion last Saturday afternoon. Some of these students wrote out their  prophetic promises, put them in beautiful frames and hung them on the wall!
